Travel from Georgia Veterans State Park, travel through the rolling farm lands of southern Georgia to President Jimmy Carter's hometown of Plains, Georgia. Explore the Jimmy Carter National Historic Site Museum, the train depot Campaign Headquarters and the Billy Carter Service Station & Museum. Shop the retail stores on Main Street, sample the awesome peanut butter ice cream and enjoy the Annual Peanut Festival.

Prices are subject to change without notice. Please make your reservations at this price to be locked in.

Provided full payment is received no later than your final payment day, itinerary, travel instructions and documents will be provided 30 days before travel if not earlier.

It is the guests' responsibility to notify Melanin and Stamped of all email and address changes.

Late payment of $15 per person is required after monthly payment date.

Melanin and Stamped Travel merchant account is through Travel Joy. Travel Joy accepts major credit cards. Failure to remit payments on a timely basis will automatically put your booking at risk of cancellation. Without limitation, Passenger(s) voluntarily hold Melanin and Stamped Travel harmless for cancellation of any booking for either late payment or declination of a credit card.

Rain or Shine: This event will take place regardless of weather conditions. Please dress accordingly.

Meal & Allergy Notice: The seafood buffet includes fried fish and shrimp. If you have a seafood allergy, please note this at the time of booking. A chicken strip option is available.

Buffet Policy: This is an all-you-can-eat buffet, available only during the scheduled meal time. All food must be consumed at the venue. No takeout or to-go containers permitted.

Train Seating: This is a full train ride. Each section accommodates 4 passengers. Seating may be shared with other guests.

Accessibility: Portable wheelchairs and rollators are permitted. If you require special assistance, please notify us in advance.

Arrival Time: Guests must arrive at the Cordele train station no later than 7:15 AM. Boarding begins shortly after. A full itinerary will be emailed to all booked guests 30 days prior to the trip.

Train Rules: No outside food, beverages, or coolers are allowed on the train.

Portable Chair Policy: We highly recommend bringing a portable, foldable chair (in a carry case) for use during the festival layover. The chair must fit under your train seat when not in use.
